DUBAI: Football star Lionel Messi made a young fan’s day last week after the young boy was escorted away by security guards outside a hotel in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Messi called for the boy to be brought back to him and proceeded to hug him and pose for photographs with him.
The footage is making headlines as fans laud Messi for taking the time to greet his young fans.
The Argentinian football great had been in Montevideo ahead of Friday’s World Cup qualifying match between Argentina and Uruguay.
