Rotana Khalijia, part of the Rotana Network, provided an extensive coverage of the recently concluded Comic Con Arabia in Riyadh.
Comic Con Arabia is the first edition of Riyadh’s ultimate multi-genre pop-culture convention built for fans who want to experience the world of anime, manga, graphic novels, video games, toys, TV shows and films.
The event, which ran from Nov. 23-25 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, featured a number of shows, competitions and star appearances.
Several activities and interviews were conducted and aired by Rotana Khalijia featuring a line-up of international celebrities as well as local talent.
Some of the stars that were interviewed by Rotana Khalijia included Pilou Asbæk (“Game of Thrones”), Kevin Sussman (“The Big Bang Theory”) and Kris Holden-Ried (“Underworld: Awakening”).
All three actors expressed in their interviews a sense of pleasure visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time and being introduced to its culture and people. The talents were also delighted meeting their fans who came out in large numbers to attend the convention. Over 24,000 visitors attended the event.
