Shell Saudi Arabia recently concluded ValueNet, a 16-week program in Riyadh which saw 200 girls, 10 of which were from the Down Syndrome Association, participate in games-based activities to develop their social skills and sense of team spirit.
First introduced in Jubail in 2015, this year the program was organized in Riyadh, where girls from Al-Faris International Schools, Advanced Learning Schools and Riyadh Najd School participated. The program complements the common goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 to foster youth development and women empowerment.
Children aged between seven and 11 received training from 13 Saudi female coaches.
ValueNet is a social skills initiative launched by Shell across the Middle East and North Africa region, in association with the FC Barcelona Foundation.
