DUBAI: She served up one jaw-dropping look after another in the live action readaptation of “Cinderella,” and Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello is continuing to showcase show-stopping outfits off-screen as she promotes her new film.

Last week, the singer-turned-actress wore a striking ensemble from Arab label Azzi & Osta during an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” and, more recently, the “Havana” singer was spotted championing another Lebanese brand.

On Tuesday, 24-year-old Cabello was pictured doing press for her debut film, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, wearing a green, ruffled corset top and black, high-waisted trousers from Alexander McQueen paired with a Jordan-shaped Enma bag and L’Atelier Nawbar’s heart-shaped Nothing Compares 2U ring.

The retro ring is a collaborative effort by L’Atelier Nawbar and Lebanese blogger Natalie Fanj — it is a 1990s-inspired collection of rings that was launched April.

Titled “Jem Pop,” the vibrant capsule is a chic spin on the plastic jewelry trend and features six gold-plated statement rings that are handmade by fine jewelry artisans. Featuring enameling techniques and intricate detailing, the collection draws inspiration from nostalgic ‘90s elements such as cassette tapes, Yin-Yang symbols and smiley faces.

Meanwhile, the rings have quirky names that serve as a playful nod to the era, such as “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems” and “Nothing Compares 2U.”

Dima and Tania Nawbar are fourth generation jewelers and the first women to take over the family’s Beirut-based business which was founded by their great-great-grandfather in a gold souk in 1881.

L’Atelier Nawbar’s designs have been worn by international celebrities like Queen Rania of Jordan and US actress Joey King, and its collection of rings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets are stocked at major retailers such as Harrods, Bloomingdales and Moda Operandi.

The jewelry label also has ethical elements to it.

The designers have taken it upon themselves to train socially disadvantaged and displaced women in various handmade techniques, such as intricate beading and stone carving, offering elderly women artisans work to support their families.

It appears that Cabello has a penchant for Lebanese-owned labels. She was also recently pictured wearing Beirut-born jewelry designer Joanna Laura Constantine’s gold hoop earrings.
