ABHA, 22 April  — The Indian community in Asir region has appealed to the consul general to increase the frequency of consular team’s visit to the region by making it bi-monthly instead of quarterly at present, to avoid rush and inconvenience to the community members. “It took me three hours to reach to the window due to rush,” said Liaqat Ali, a worker. Three month is a long time to wait for the renewal and making of new passports. And every one can not afford to go to Jeddah complained another worker. The community members have also appealed to increase the visits of labor officials also to the region to solve labor problems.
