SANAA, 24 April — Saudi Arabia has expressed its willingness to send teachers to Yemen and to give stipends to Yemeni students with the aim of improving the quality of education in the country. This was announced by Education Minister Muhammad Al-Rasheed who arrived here yesterday on a visit lasting several days. Al-Rasheed stressed the need for cooperation to deepen historical and geographical ties between the two countries. Welcoming the Saudi offer, the Yemeni minister of education said his country would work with Saudi Arabia as a single team to achieve progress in the field of education.
