JISH workshop on speech problems

JEDDAH, 2 May — The Jeddah Institute for Speech and Hearing will hold an annual workshop on “augmentative communication” tomorrow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The workshop will introduce the latest technology available to help individuals who cannot use speech to communicate. The workshop will be presented in Arabic by JISH pathologists certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and three other speakers. The workshop will be open to parents, professionals and the general public, according to a JISH statement yesterday.
