Accidents kill 20,000 in Arab World

TUNIS, 3 May — More than 20,000 people died and 200,000 were injured in traffic accidents in the Arab world, according to Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Ahmed Al-Salim, who underscored the importance of traffic awareness.  In a statement issued here yesterday on the occasion of the Arab traffic week.  Al-Salim urged the religious, information, educational and social organizations to convince the Arab citizens to adopt proper ways and values of car driving.
