Various trade shows lined up in Qassim

BURAIDAH, 16 May    A series of business exhibitions and trade shows will commence in the next few weeks at the Qassim International Exhibition Center here.


A spokesman of the Qassim International Exhibitions Company said that the first of a number of specialist exhibitions is the Qassim Expo which will take place during May. This 10-day show will attract exhibitors from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Pakistan to showcase their respective products.


“Modern Life,” “Book Fair,” “Computer and Communication,” “Consumer Products,” “The Qassim Agricultural Show,” and “Qassim Auto Exhibition,” are also planned for this year.


The new program of shows covers such industries as food, education, computers, textiles, giftware, packaging and printing and agricultural products, the spokesman said.


These new trade shows will be held in the newly constructed Qassim International Exhibitions Center which will be opened by Qassim Province Governor Prince Faisal ibn Bandar ibn Abdul Aziz next month.


The new center is built on a 100.000 square meters land and at a total cost of SR12 million, he added.
