JIZAN, 22 May — Jizan Governor Prince Muhammad ibn Nasir laid the foundation stone for a SR78 million technical college here yesterday designed to provide education to 3,300 students annually. Muhammad ibn Suleiman Al-Dhalaan, governor of the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training, said the college’s capacity could be increased to 6,000 students. He said in the initial stage the college would offer studies in general topics, mechanics and electronics. In the second phase, courses in electrical, chemical and construction engineering, trade and management will be offered.
