JEDDAH, 23 May — The AP NRIs Association felicitated Air-India Western Province Manager S.M. Mazharullah, Sales Manager Saadat Ali Khan and other members of the airline staff on the revival of a weekly nonstop flight from Jeddah to Hyderabad, at a function at Shadab restaurant last Thursday. Association President M.A. Majeed gave an overview of the efforts made by the organization in reviving the flight. Mazharullah replying to the felicitations assured that the flight would not be discontinued, but if the move received adequate support from the community, efforts would be made to increase the frequency. Adil Mehboob, general manager of Jouf Travel and Cargo Agency, was also honored on the occasion for sponsoring the event. Aslam Sharief conducted the proceedings. Poet Aleem Siddiqui rendered a poem befitting the occasion. The association’s General Secretary Siadat Ali Khan and treasurer Sarwar Aziz were also present.
