DAMMAM, 24 May  — International Indian School here has distanced itself from a cultural show being organized at the King Fahd Park by the Cultural Society of India today. A statement issued by the school yesterday said though the school welcomed contributions from every quarter for its Child Care Center, it was not involved in the activities of the society in any way. The organizers have claimed in their leaflets that the school is cooperating to organize the show. Many members of the community have raised objections against using the school’s name in connection with such shows saying that the school should not attach itself with any cultural or social groupings. The organizers have pledged one Saudi riyal for each ticket sold to the school’s Child Care Center.
