Resolve to protect wildlife stressed

RIYADH, 27 May — Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who is managing director of the National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development, yesterday underscored the government’s resolve to protect the country’s wildlife and environment. He said the Royal Decree giving the Wildlife Fund an independent entity would help the fund achieve its goals. The fund was established in 1994 at the initiative of Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who is the chairman of NCWCD.
