Dr. Fakeeh recovering after surgery

 JEDDAH, 29 May — Dr. Soliman Fakeeh, who was hit by a car while taking a walk on the Corniche in Cairo last week, is recovering after he underwent major surgery for a pelvic fracture last Thursday, according to doctors attending on him at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital here. “Three days after the operation, he went home for convalescence. His general condition is good,” one doctor told Arab News. Dr. Fakeeh has since been receiving a number of visitors and attending to telephone calls from his friends and well-wishers. (KSR)
