JEDDAH, 31 May — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd issued a decree yesterday appointing Prince Turki ibn Sultan as assistant minister of information at the excellent grade. Prince Turki has been undersecretary for external information at the Ministry of Information since 1996. He has headed several committees and delegations. In 1995, he was appointed a member of the board of trustees of the Prince Sultan Charitable Foundation. After taking a BA degree from the King Saud University in Riyadh, Prince Turki did his masters in mass communications at the Syracuse University in New York State. Meanwhile, the king appointed Habib ibn Mustafa Zein Al-Abdeen undersecretary for works affairs at the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.
