Two beheaded in Riyadh for murder

RIYADH, 2 January —— Two Saudi nationals were beheaded yesterday for murder in the Riyadh region, the Interior Ministry said in a statement. The two men were executed after being convicted in separate cases for shooting and killing fellow citizens, the ministry said. Saad ibn Ajlan ibn Huzam Al-Dossari was convicted of shooting to death Obaid ibn Muhammad Al-Dossari during a dispute and was sentenced to death a few years ago, but his execution was postponed until the minor heirs of his victim reached majority. He was beheaded in Wadi Al-Dawassir. Mubarak ibn Abdullah Al-Dossari was convicted of shooting Badi ibn Muhammad Al-Dossari with a machine gun following a dispute. He was beheaded in Al-Salil governorate. (SPA)
