AGADIR, 12 June — Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday concluded his four-nation tour after holding a second round of talks with Morocco’s King Muhammad. The talks focused on the latest situation in Palestine.

Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal told Arab News that the talks between the Moroccan king and the Saudi crown prince covered all Arab and Islamic issues, adding that their views on all issues were identical. Moroccan palace’s spokesman Hasan Ourid said the royal visit was successful by all standards.

Prince Abdullah, who arrived in Casablanca later in the day, witnessed the signing of a loan agreement between the Kingdom and Morocco. Saudi Fund Development signed the deal to provide SR90 million in loans to finance a 965-bed university hospital in Fez. The SR217 million hospital will be completed in three years.

Saudi Finance and National Economy Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, who signed the accord, said SFD has so far given SR1.008 billion to Morocco to finance 12 development projects. “This is in addition to $1 billion aid given by the Kingdom to Morocco to carry out 14 projects,” the minister said.

Prince Abdullah arrived in Morocco on Sunday on the last leg of a four-nation tour which also took him to Syria, Germany and Sweden.
