Death toll from RVF rises to 120

JEDDAH, 21 January — The death toll from the Rift Valley Fever in the reached 120 with one more death reported yesterday. A Health Ministry statement issued yesterday also said that 738 people who contracted the disease had recovered so far. Meanwhile, the Agriculture and Water directorate in the Makkah region has embarked on a campaign against mosquitoes by spraying insecticides over stagnant waters in the region. (SPA)
