RIYADH, 28 February — The Information Ministry will host about 200 mediamen representing 100 media organizations in different countries to cover this year's Haj. The external information division at the ministry has prepared an action plan for the media coverage on a round-the-clock basis, Deputy Minister of Information Prince Turki ibn Sultan said in a statement. The ministry will also supervise several programs on Haj and Muslim issues to be prepared jointly with CNN, BBC and other international television companies. CNN will telecast the Arafat Standing, return of pilgrims from Arafat and Eid prayers as well as question and answer program on Haj. The Haj programs can also be accessed at CNN's Internet site. Malaysian and Indonesian TVs and National Geographic will also participate in the programs in addition to BBC which will prepare a telefilm on Haj. (SPA)
