Dawa camp opens in Abha

ABHA, 7 July  — Asir Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal opened the summer dawa camp here yesterday reaffirming Saudi Arabia’s commitment to Shariah. “When other countries competed with one another in implementing socialist and communist ideologies, the Kingdom adhered to the Islamic system. If commitment to Islam is considered reactionary, the government and people of this country are proud of being called reactionaries,” he said. Prince Khaled also said tourism in the Kingdom provided spiritual enjoyment to visitors.(AN)
