Private hospitals, clinics fined

JEDDAH, 11 July — The Ministry of Health has slapped fines of varying amounts on a number of private hospitals and clinics for violating health regulations. A private hospital here faced punishment for luring doctors working in government hospitals to practice with them. A medical committee imposed SR10,000 fines on several clinics for issuing fake medical reports. Another clinic was fined SR24,000 for allowing a dental surgeon to practice without a license. (AN)
