MADINAH, 22 July — Madinah Governor Prince Muqrin yesterday signed contracts worth SR470 million with a number of companies to carry out development projects around the Prophet’s Mosque. The projects include a 250-bed hospital, a four-star hotel and a building of Civil Defense and Red Crescent units as well as facilities for visitors. Contracts for maintenance for electricity, water and telephone installations in the area were also awarded. (KUNA)
