Fahd receives Algerian speaker

JEDDAH, 6 August — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd yesterday received Abdul Qader ibn Saleh, speaker of the Algerian parliament and special envoy of President Abdel Aziz Bouteflika. Saleh conveyed the greetings of Bouteflika to the Saudi ruler. The meeting was attended by Shoura Council President Muhammad ibn Jubair and other high-ranking officials. During a meeting with Riyadh Governor Prince Salman on Sunday, Saleh conveyed the condolences of the Algerian president to the governor on the death of Prince Fahd ibn Salman. (SPA)
