RIYADH, 9 August — Students with special needs will now be allowed to study at institutes of higher education in the Kingdom, especially technical colleges, according to Higher Education Minister Dr. Khaled Al-Anqari. He said Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd has approved a proposal made by the Higher Education Council in this respect. The King has also endorsed the opening of a faculty of financial and administrative sciences at the Madinah campus of King Abdul Aziz University. Anqari also announced that an agency for social services and continuous education would be opened at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University along with another for educational and academic affairs at King Saud University in Riyadh. Dr. Hashem ibn Bakr Hariri has been appointed undersecretary of Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah for a three-year term.
