JEDDAH, 10 August — The Pepsi organization has refused to hand over prizes to 17 Saudis which it offered during a recent promotional campaign, saying the can rings they collected for the prize belonged to campaigns organized by the international beverages company in Dubai and Bahrain. Abdul Jaleel Al-Aqqad, public relations officer at Pepsi, told Arab News that it was coordinating with the Dubai branch to find out whether the can rings had entered the Kingdom illegally. He said holding promotional campaigns in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates at the same time, offering similar prizes, had caused confusion. The Saudis insist they got the can rings from distribution outlets within the Kingdom. Saudia’s precautionary measures
