JEDDAH, 24 August — The Saudi German Hospitals Group has reported that they have successfully undertaken brain surgery on a 33-year-old Kuwaiti patient, which has brought to an end 33 years of his suffering from epilepsy. He became epileptic after a fall from his mother’s arms, and has been having epileptic fits daily since then. Medication did not help him. Dr. Ashraf Ghobashy, a consultant neurosurgeon, said the patient had been suffering from the disease since he was three months old.
