JEDDAH, 30 August — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, yesterday opened the Naval Forces Schools at King Faisal Naval Base here. Addressing the ceremony, he highlighted the government’s efforts to develop its armed forces and the capabilities of all young Saudis. The schools are being established as part of the Sawary-2 project. Earlier, on his arrival at the base, the prince was received by Lt. Gen. Talal Al-Mufdi, commander of the naval forces, and other high-ranking officers.
