RIYADH, 22 October — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd sent a message to Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi yesterday. The Kingdom’s Ambassador to Italy, Prince Nawaf, handed the message over to Berlusconi at a reception in Rome. King Fahd also received Czech Ambassador to the Kingdom at Al-Yemama Palace yesterday. Meanwhile, Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, sent a letter to Moroccan King Muhammad VI. The Kingdom’s Ambassador to Morocco Abdul Aziz Khoja presented the letter to the Moroccan King at a reception in Rabat on Saturday. The crown prince also received a telephone call from Palestinian President Yasser Arafat. Arafat briefed him on the current developments and Israel’s increasing repression of the Palestinians. (SPA)
