63 flogged in Riyadh for harassing girls

RIYADH, 26 October — Sixty-three young men, including 10 expatriates, have been flogged in public in the Saudi capital for harassing girls in shopping areas and outside schools, a newspaper reported Thursday. The men were arrested last week by special squads deployed in markets and at major shopping centers and each given 15 lashes after failing to heed a first warning, Al-Riyadh daily said.
