Saudi group to up stakes in Pak bank

RIYADH, 11 November — Prince Sultan ibn Nasir, chairman of Sultan International Group, yesterday announced his company’s decision to increase its stakes in Habib Bank, one of the largest financial institutions in Pakistan. Speaking to Al-Watan newspaper, he said with the new purchase, his company’s stake in the bank would reach SR752 million. Prince Sultan said he would visit Pakistan to conclude a deal.
