Woman told to renew driving license!

ARAR, 28 November — A Saudi woman is planning to take legal action against the traffic department in Taif for registering a traffic violation against her for not renewing her driving license. She has already appointed Marzouk Al-Anazi as her power of attorney to file the lawsuit, which aims at preventing similar cases from occurring in the future. Women are not allowed to drive in the Kingdom and cannot receive a driving license. The woman discovered the mix-up when she approached the labor office to complete an official procedure.
