JEDDAH, 7 December — The Pampanga Mequeni Dragons outclassed their hardcourt rivals Saudia All Stars 86-82 in the ongoing Seiko, Pepsi, Bugshan-sponsored Community Basketball Club league being played El Khereji Compound every Saturday, Monday and Wednesday for the non-rated teams followed by the rated groups.

In Group 2 encounter, Safeco whipped Negros (Cabin Crew) Slashers 66-48 in the non-rated division. Safeco gunners Mueco, Navera, Boringot, Magalong, Ilustre, Monzon, Billones, Roman and Toledo who combined 41 points to distance the crewmans by 29 points in the half time.
The winners continued their domination on resumption to bring out a 66-48 decision. The star of the game was Digo Boringot.
