Three held for attempting fraud

DAMMAM, 4 January — Alkhobar police arrested on Tuesday a Saudi and two accomplices who attempted to cheat a leading Saudi bank of SR200,000 using forged documents. Police were called when the bank officials discovered the forgery of a letter of authorization for the payment to the suspect. The man, in whose name the forgery was made, said he had not sent any man to the bank. The trickster confessed to police that he had sought the help of a Saudi and an expat while preparing the document.
