SEC approval soon for rail expansion

JEDDAH, 5 January — Communications Minister Nasser Al-Salloum said the Supreme Economic Council is expected to approve the proposed railway project to link the northern parts of the Kingdom with the Eastern Province within a matter of weeks, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. The proposal was made after conducting a thorough study with the help of experts in the field.
