RIYADH, 28 January — Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeea, a pediatric surgery consultant, separated a pair of Sudanese Siamese twins last Monday with the help of a medical team at the King Abdul Aziz Medical City. Dr. Rabeea said the condition of Najla and Naseeba was stable. “They have started on the road to full recovery and are breathing without aid. We removed the ventilator from the twins on Friday,” Abdul Aziz told Saudi Press Agency. “All the main organ functions of the twins returned to normal four days after the operation. There is nothing to worry about,” the doctor said. (SPA)
