RIYADH, 29 January — The Kingdom has released 13,768 prisoners, including 8,905 Saudis and 4,863 expatriates, during the past weeks on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd. Speaking to the Saudi Press Agency yesterday, Interior Minister Prince Naif said the prisoners were set free to mark the 20th anniversary of King Fahd’s accession to the throne. (SPA)
