RIYADH, 3 February — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, held talks here yesterday with Morocco’s King Muhammad VI on Middle East peace and the suffering of Palestinian people under the Israeli aggression.
The Saudi Press Agency said the Saudi-Moroccan summit talks focused on the Palestinian issue and explored ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation. The two sides also exchanged views on major Arab and international developments, the agency added.
King Muhammad, who arrived here last night for a two-day visit, is scheduled to perform Umrah in Makkah before leaving here tomorrow for an official visit to China. This is the Moroccan leader’s second visit to Saudi Arabia since he came to power in 1999. (SPA)
