JEDDAH, 6 February — Abdullah Salim Bahamdan, chairman and managing director of National Commercial Bank, and members of the board, led a two-weeklong blood donation campaign organized by the bank in cooperation with King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah and King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. The campaign, organized on the occasion of the Haj season, started on Saturday. The bank made special arrangements at the first floor of its headquarters in Jeddah for blood donation by its employees. King Fahd Hospital had sent a team of doctors to oversee the event.

In Riyadh, KFSH has sent a mobile clinic equipped with all facilities to receive blood from NCB employees in the capital city. The campaign is part of the bank’s One Working Team program aimed at strengthening interaction with society. It has so far conducted 20 charitable projects under the program.

Yousuf Basalamah, director of blood bank at King Fahd Hospital, thanked the NCB and its employees for the humanitarian gesture. He said NCB was the largest blood donor among national organizations over the past years.
