Youth arrested over boy’s murder

JEDDAH, 6 February — Police arrested a Saudi youth in connection with the murder of an 11-year-old boy two weeks ago in the Molqiyah district of Makkah, Al-Nadwah daily reported yesterday. The 21-year-old youth allegedly strangled the boy to death following a dispute. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime. He said he had fled the scene after committing the murder. A police source said investigations into the case were now closed as the suspect recorded his confession.
