Travel tax exemption for Saudis

JEDDAH, 6 February — The Jordanian government has exempted Saudi nationals traveling to the country by road from travel tax effective this week, Al-Watan newspaper reported yesterday. Muhammad Qatayshat, director of the Jordanian customs, said the move aims at simplifying the travel procedures between Saudi Arabia and Jordan. This will also help boost the commercial, tourist and educational relations between the two countries, the official said.
