Contaminated foodstuffs seized

HAIL, 7 February — Health inspectors in this northeastern city seized nine bottles of soy sauce and cheese containing vermin from a hospital warehouse during a recent inspection round. The foodstuffs were supplied by a catering contractor for inpatients in the region’s hospitals. Dr. Essam Al-Harkah, director general of health affairs in Hail, said a committee was set up to investigate the case.
