MADINAH, 28 February — Al-Ittihad of Jeddah repeated their Crown Prince Cup semifinal win over Al-Ansar when they won 2-1 in a King’s Cup soccer match yesterday.
Brazilian Louis Ferra netted both the goals for Ittihad who continue to be in the second place in the league table with 39 points from 18 matches.
Ittihad led 1-0 at the interval after Ferra bulged the left corner of the Ansar net with a powerful shot in the 16th minute. Abdullah Al-Hazazi drew level by converting a penalty in the 72nd minute.
In the dying seconds Ferra scored from the spot to make it 2-1 for Ittihad.
In another match of the competiton, the Riyadh derby between Al-Shabab and Al-Riyadh saw the teams sharing two goals and points.
