RIYADH, 2 March — Local challengers Al-Nasr thrashed Al-Najmah 4-1 in a King’s Cup soccer match last night. After Senegal’s Kita had opened the scoring for them in the 20th minute, they scored goals through Cesar Khilyu (27th minute), Swaleh Dawood (49) and Badr Al-Haqbani (59).
Ishaq Kawaki netted the solitary goal for Najmah in the 59th minute. Nasr are at the fourth place on the league table with 34 points from 17 matches while Najmah are 9th with 16 points.
