Toddler dies of snake bite

JIZAN, 5 March — A toddler died of snake bite in Jizan’s Onisha village recently, according to Al-Madinah daily. “The snake attacked the baby and clasped its jaws around his neck, killing him instantly,” according to the paper. The incident happened while the baby’s father was praying inside the house. His mother tried to pull the baby’s neck out of the snake’s mouth, but her efforts failed. The baby later died of poisoning at the local hospital.
