LONDON, 6 March — The British House of Lords yesterday gave a reception to Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki, secretary-general of the Muslim World League, and his delegation. Addressing the function, Turki said the Islamic teachings were aimed at deepening peace in society. “Islam has prohibited all forms of injustice and aggression. It also outlaws terrorism,” he added. Lord Nazir Ahmad said the delegation’s visit was part of an effort to deepening understanding between Islam and the West. (SPA)
