Salloum signs joint pact on roads

BEIRUT, 8 March — Communications Minister Dr. Nasir Al-Salloum yesterday signed a joint agreement on international roads for Arab countries. He said the accord will facilitate transportation between Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Yemen. The agreement aims at enhancing safety and security on roads. (SPA)
