RIYADH, 12 April — Fawaz of Sheraton, Imran of Jeraisy, Abdul Wahab of SACO, Minhaj of Dar Al-Riyadh stole limelight and helped their teams beat rivals in the 2nd week matches of ongoing 2nd SACO Summer Cup being played at various grounds in Riyadh.
At Jeraisy grounds, hosts SACO recorded their first win beating Dar-Al-Marwa by a big margin. Batting first, SACO helped by Abdul Wahab’s fine innings of 73 scored a mammoth 270 for 3 in stipulated overs. Dar Al-Marwa were all out 132 in chasing big target. Elsewhere, Fawaz’s brilliant 91 helped Sheraton record win over MEED, Imran’s 81 helped Jeraisy scored fine victory over Fal C.C. while Dar-Al-Riyadh aided by Minhaj’s fine all-rounder performance (71 runs & 2 wickets) recorded comfortable win over Crystal C.C.
