HYDERABAD, 12 April — The Crime Investigation Department of the AP Police, investigating the multi-billion rupee Charminar Cooperative Urban Bank scandal, has requested the state government to attach 22 properties owned by the bank’s former Chairman Syed Alamdar Hussain Sajjad Aga and his family members. In a letter to the government on Wednesday, the CID sought the attachment of the properties, which include 12 flats in the twin cities, houses, plots, office space in commercial complexes, land on the city outskirts, etc. The CID also advised the people against entering into any transaction involving the attached properties of Sajjad Aga and his family members as well as movable and immovable properties belonging to the bank directors and their family members.
