RIYADH, 16 April — Interior Minister Prince Naif underwent successful surgery on both knees at a Geneva hospital yesterday, the royal court announced. “Prince Naif underwent a surgery on his knees Monday morning. The operation was a complete success,” the court said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. Prince Naif was admitted to a hospital in Geneva on Sunday and will spend some time undergoing normal post-operative tests, the statement said. Prince Naif, 68, who heads several governmental bodies, was appointed interior minister in 1975.
