Dallah wins Jeddah cleaning contract

JEDDAH, 30 April — The higher authorities have approved the decision to award a SR455 million contract to Dallah Albaraka for cleaning Jeddah, according to Hisham Abideen, director general of environmental health at Jeddah Municipality. A contract will be signed in two weeks. The municipal authorities have also decided to shift the city’s garbage dump east of the expressway to three places in the northern, southern and eastern parts of the city. The present site will be converted to a public park.
